I must be very dense.  There is a double negative in there - "not thriving" and "absence".  I'm trying to wrap my brain around those and having a difficult time of it.  Would it be safe to say that "bees are thriving because of the presence of antibiotics"?   Like I said, I'm having some comprehension problems here.  <GRIN>
