Download the supplemental material, in which they describe their materials
and methods in detail.  It is also obvious that there weren't approximately
25 colonies in each group from the graph.  The giveaway that made me
question the graph was the percentages--all the data points fell exactly on
either 20% divisions (the control group of 5 colonies) or 25% divisions
(the test group of 4 colonies).
