Back when we would install 100 plus Packages a year we would reduce drift
by first dunking the need in warm water.  First we'd remove the Fred can
and queen.  Next we'd shake the bees to the bottom of the cage and then
immerse for a count of 10.  We'd then pour the bees into the nuc, release
the queen on top of the pile of wet bees, and move on.
This cut drifting way down.
