Laminate tends to warp.
Perhaps with a frame it would be more stable.
There appear to be 2 kinds of varroa floor-one to trap and count mites, and
one to let them fall to the ground.
Cardboard liner board might be worth a go.
Liner board is the stuff on either side of corrugated like a cereal box is
made from.
