Firstly, I have changed the subject heading as I doubt anyone would looking in the archives for the subjects being discussed under "allergic reactions".

In Australia there is now honey registered under the Therapeutic Goods Act to be used topically.  It is sold commercially as Medihoney.  I believe it is the first honey registered in the world for this purpose.
