Hi,

I would like to know if it would be profitable to produce beeswax by feeding hives with sugar syrup and/or sugar cane "juice" .

I live in Brazil and there are some people here engaged in experiences of this sort. Their aim is to produce an extra-white wax that, according to them, would have a good price in the international market. These experiences are in progress, and the preliminary results do not seem to be that promising.

Anyway, if somebody in this group knows something on the subject or heard about any previous experience or work of this kind please let me know.

Regards,
Danilo
