Mating swarms are a nuisance and, if they do not return, a loss.

A couple of suggestions:
Keep the nucs in the shade - small hives are more liable to overheat and
abscond.  This can be a great problem with mininucs.
Make sure that there is some open brood in them as the bees are less likely
to leave open brood.
