Actually, after the sperm was imported from Brazil and introduced into  
breeding stock, we had empty hives in the spring in MT, Wyo, Dakotas.
 
Bill Wilson traced the losses to lines that were produced with this  sperm.  
He almost ended his career on this issue - Wyo lab was closed,  everything 
shipped to Weslaco.
