Hi Alden

> Anyone know the acidic effects on plastic?

In my small-scale hobbyist way, I simply dropped the brood box into a black polythene refuse sack and folded over the top, adding a roof to weight it down. The black polythene will help keep in the fumes, it might help warm the box, and it survives the experience unscathed save for the odd tear here and there.

all the best

Gavin
