There were big differences between HFCS's.  In pH,  in complex sugars, and
in bee survival.  They were not able to pin down exactly why some were worse
for the bees.

The low pH sugars developed HMF quickly in warm weather, but that is not a
wintering problem for you.

I doubt that they will be naming manufacturers.

In Calif, the 50:50 HFCS:sucrose mix is very popular.  Runs 11 lbs per
gallon.  Can't remember solids exactly, but over 70% as I recall.
