Hi Brian and all

Dr. Christy Morrissey made two presentations at the Ontario  
Beekeepers Assoc AGM in Nov 2013.  A point she made, that is not  
specifically covered in the CBC article, was that different soil  
types affected the half-life of the neonic pesticides differently.   
One case that she talked about was a field that was planted with seed  
treated canola, one year only.  The level of the insecticide had  
decayed only to 80% of the planting year levels after four years.
