Bob, I know that you love conspiracies, but there are also other
reasons that commercial beeks feed HFCS over sucrose.  Easier to
obtain, cheaper, longer shelf life without spoilage, lack of
crystallization at high solids content.

Many have gone to sucrose/HFCS blends.

The amount of HFCS fed to bees is a tiny drop in the bucket of total
HFCS sold.  Those who directly sell it (as opposed to the actual
manufacturer) could just as easily make profit by selling sucrose
syrup.
