Hello all,

I'm a new s*bscriber to this list and have been enjoying the messages.

I am a freelance writer who is currently working on a article about garden
slugs. Some people have problems with slugs trying to crawl into beehives. My
questions are: Why? Do slugs eat dead bees? Are they trying to get to the
honeycombs since slugs can be caught in traps of honey?

Any information about why slugs want to get into beehives and the response of
bees will be appreciated. Thanks.
