Next to being esthetical there is one other aspect of natural comb, it is completely free of residues that can be found in re-processed second hand wax.  I never see a certificate of analysis for fluvalinate residues for any batch of foundation available here. 
I can buy expensive "organic" foundation which is made from foreign (african) wax. But for that I would like to see a CoA too, regarding other things than pesticides.
