Hey ...lighten up Jerry...This is a concept not an actual design. The 
website describes this in their 'Probes' section.

I, for one, love the concept, and I hope they can progress it to an actual 
product. I can envisage a whole new business opportunity opening up here for 
beekeepers to service and manage these. In this city, we have a small army 
including pest controllers and beekeepers who run around killing off urban 
swarms, so to turn that activity in the opposite direction certainly gets my 
vote! Truth is that apart from a small percentage of the population who are 
honey afficionados, most urbanites either have not a clue about bees and 
their value in the environment, or are terrified of them. We really need to 
change that, and thinking outside the box like this example is possibly one 
way to do that.
