Isn't it ironic that beekeepers have approvals for use of deadly and toxic materials 
(comaphous an organophosphate) but pest eradicators cannot use any materials like that?

which paints a less then positive view of Industrial Ag that most common folk can relate 
to. 

Seems like somehow commercial beekeeping has evolved like Big Ag into mostly a 
chemical applicator job. The beekeeping is almost secondary with all of the focus on 
meds and treatments and gassing etc. Same is true for row crop farming - more concern 
for the chems then quality of the soil and environment and the ETHICS.....

Its all justified in the end because its income for some family .......and the supporters of 
these kind of chemical applicator professions, evoke images of some guy with his family 
playing country western music in the background with pictures of the american flag and 
tag lines about feeding America etc......yada yada yada...

Many people are saying that the politics of Food Production is the political issue of the 
next decade.
