Commercial beekeepers and queen breeders swear by banana peels on the tops
of the frames.  I've heard of the ingredient that is supposed to be
attacking the fungus, but I forget what it is.

For myself, I just switch queen breeders.  A good queen seems to keep it
under control so much it is non-existent or barely visible.
