>>What happens with visibility and traffic accidents? ( in naturally sustained median strips)?

I've thought about that over the years.  On our interstates, sometimes oncoming traffic does NOT dim their lights since they feel that the other side of the highway is too far to the side to be affected by their high beams.  NOT!!  Three or four foot high grass and shrubbery would ameliorate a lot of that irritation of oncoming high beams.

Traffic accidents involving the crossing of the median by vehicles might have the impact results highly reduced due to the affect the medium vegetation would have on slowing down the vehicle crossing the median strip.

I'd rather not watch the oncoming traffic anyways.  Would hide my high speed vehicle from visual sight of oncoming highway patrols as well.  <GRIN>
