Do 'dummy boards' exist in the US?

Our British Modified National can hold 12 frames - but it is tight. The norm is to use 11 frames with a dummy board, which can either be removed or pushed back to the side wall to make room to remove frames. The great advantage is that you can keep all frames properly spaced.

Best wishes
