To American beekeepers (or anyone) on the list with some insight:

What exactly, and who exactly, is the Farm Bureau?

Here in NY, the Farm Bureau wields considerable political interest in the state level beekeeping organization.

Many NY commercials are migratory, and I'm not sure how their primary residency is confirmed. I don't know whether it is acceptable to be an officer in more than one state beekeeper association.

So a second question is, are large scale migratory beekeepers, who may have residences in more than one state, allowed to participate in the offices of more than one state bee organization? Who keeps track of this?

Christina
