Separate bottom boards on a skeleton pallet will allow better water
drainage so the boxes don't rot as fast. When pallet bottom board rots
you have to rebuild at least 2 or more. On pallet bottom board I have
had a problem with keeping all colonies queen right where as separate
bottoms I do not have that problem.
