Nice summary Dick!  I realize that for many on the list that this may not
appear to be directly applicable to their beekeeping, but since there is so
much bee press about "genetics" these days, it's good to have a basic
understanding of how rapidly our scientific understanding of inheritance
and evolution is evolving.
