I gave a lady bees on several occasions.  I built a little wire cage to hold a medium frame.  Pulled a frame out, set it in the cage and gave it to her (free), and when gone, she came back and we swapped out another one with bees and brood.
 
Hmmmm, not sure what she did with them.  She had MS, but it's not reallly my business what she does with them.  Or is it?  She said my bees made her feel better. 
 
And as purely subjective and anecdotal as this case may be, why would I withhold something beneficial to someone suffering from an incurable disease?
