   Sorry to all of you on the BEE-L list --- my profound apologies.  By
hitting the return button, I thought my message was going out only to Paul
Cronshaw of Santa Barbara.
 
   For those who are interested, though, we continue to have swarms in the
downtown area of Santa Barbara, even though presumably no beekeepers
operate there (against the city ordinance).  If this keeps up, we may end
up with a colony that can survive varroa.
