We got snowed on here in the Sierra this week, then some flight this
afternoon.  Lots of dying (but not dead) bees in the snow.  I did gut
squashes on those in front of two weak hives.  Nine out of ten bees in both
samples were loaded with nosema.  Those bees would no longer show up in
samples of bees taken from the combs.
