Exactly.

The number of people who want to save the world by keeping bees is
staggering to say the least.
Like many owners of dogs, cat, horses etc etc. some shouldn't have bees
period.

The last fellow a week ago who dropped by to buy some beeswax indicated
that he thought he
might "keep" some bees.
I rolled out the ins and outs of what's involved watching his expression
change.
Then I simply asked as I always do, "Are you prepared to raise a litter of
dogs?"
He uttered an outright NO! And admitted that he had no idea about the
management knowledge
that goes into achieving success or failure.

Another guy just before that arrived to order queens for the summer.
Had one year into it and had not taken any course etc. Yet he bought many
hives
from someone I knew - a ppb. and wanted to get up to 15 in the summer.
Scary part was that I found he lived near one of my bee yards.
