Doesn't work for old comb, but it is a better condition to scrape the 
wax off, if the frame is cold, the wax scrapes off with less debris 
being left, very old frames will still leave enough to cover over the
foundation, so the bees will have no guide. Hot water pressure washing 
is the best, but as already stated, the operator gets as wet as the frame.
