FYI: The feature article in the current journal of the American
Statistical Association and the Royal Statistical Society of the UK is
about neonic and bee data analysis.  I find it refreshing.  It is
written by a Bombus researcher from the UK.   It's more of a review.
I don't think any data is new, but he does give the statement "the
data suggest a half-life [of imidacloprid?] exceeding 1000 days"
contrary to a manufacturer's "representative said that it had a
half-life of 16-200 days".  He also talks about an LC50 (the
concentration that kills 50% of test subjects over 96 hours; as
opposed to an LD50) which I am have not heard of before...
