Tip for those posting to Bee-L.  Since anyone posting clearly has access to
the internet, one can save the List time by simply (in Google at least)
typing "define: *X" ("X" being any term that you don't understand).*  In
this case, in less time than it takes to post a message, one can learn the
difference between a surfactant and an emulsifier.   Having access to a
discussion group should not be an excuse for laziness.  I'm not trying to
pick on anyone--I'm simply trying to keep this list an "informed
discussion."

One one has done basic homework, then posts can be better informed, and
more likely to be responded to.
