>>>   ...seems easier said than done...hours of work, and identifying the pollen
isn't straightforward...it seems to be better at confirming a source
than determining a source.

Guess I need to get a good microscope and work on my identification techniques so I can make better and more knowledgeable comments.  That's one of my many beekeeping goals.  I've had a course on the use of a microscope back when Robert Hooke was messing with them so will probably need to upgrade my technique.   I have garnered a source of pictures of a lot of common pollen grains so hope that will help in the identification of pollen when I get a microscope.  I've lost better than half my sense of smell, ego some of my sense of taste so have trouble discerning the various flavors of different honeys.  Plus, I've not educated myself in the various aspects of discerning honey flavors.  So much to do and so little time in which to do it.  LOL
