Yes - he was supposed to talk to members of the Bee Farmers Association (we 
visited his lab) but it seems that he had lost track of his dates!  Norman 
Carreck (who is working with him) took over and we had an excellent session 
which included a demonstration of freezing brood with liquid nitrogen. 
Norman explained that obtaining and using liquid nitrogen is not a great 
problem, so we may look at using this technique in our own bees during the 
coming months.
