Hello All,
The migration has started. A few loads stopped on I 80 due to snow. Many
loads being sent "dinks" and all due to the cold weather for the last few
weeks in the northern tier.
reports of tough entry into California at needles.
I have heard from *one* ( only one but a large respected beekeeper)
beekeeper about a bee die off in North Dakota and of
outfits sending half the normal amount of hives from North Dakota. He said
he lost a lot of hives this fall.
he said those beekeepers which lost hives were discussing neonicotinoid
treated corn as a possible source of the die off as their area had a record
corn crop this year. All neonicotinoid treated corn.
I am only passing on information so please do not kill the messenger.
bob
