David Green's comments regarding skeps are important to consider.

Brushy Mountain Bee Farm (1-800-233-7929) offers two varieties, but does
not recommend keeping bees in them:

Cat # 752 is 15" high and sells for $22.95 plus 10# shipping
   Cat # 593 is a set (one 8" and one 10") for $10.95 and 3# shipping

Their catalogue is full of great items and good information.

I am a novice beekeeper...

Best wishes,
David Rosenbaum
