One of our members who is an anaesthetist gave one of the best attended and
interesting lectures on sting allergy.  The question time went on far longer
than the lecture!  He debunked the myth that allergic reactions are
progressive and non-reversible.  Seems that after the first sting almost any
reaction, or none, is possible.
