When Barbara and I moved to NY from OH we rented a Ryder Panel Van. There was a door between the cab and the container, which had a roll up overhead door. If you had one of those you could have the roll up door propped open and tied down and the communication door open for ventilation. 

The package producers ship them, don't they? What did they say when you asked them how best to haul them?
