Corporate culture is not comfortable with such openness, but things are
changing.  And Bayer did indeed welcome and compensate travel for
beekeepers and others to observe and critique their recent canola study in
Guelph.  But the Ontario beekeepers did not invite the independent
researchers who performed the study to share the information.

Consumers demand a certain lack of regulation for products that they wish
to purchase.

Clearly not a good political move.  But necessary if the product is going
to be sold for foliar application.  I'm not defending such applications.
