Walter, I have no doubt that Apivar works very well for the time being.  In
a trial of 160+ hives that I recently started with nucs, I applied Apivar
to get a mite-free start.

I have nothing personal against Apivar.  As I've posted recently, there are
reasons that some might choose not to use, nor come to depend upon,
amitraz.
