It seems to me that the definition of a colony exhibiting Varroa Sensitive Hygiene is one that scores a 3 or 4 on a Harbo Assay.

So if one is shopping for VSH queens and the seller cannot produce the Harbo Assay results of the breeder or her daughters one is thinking about purchasing this might be a good way to separate the proverbial wheat from the chaff.
