Hi Bill,

a friend of mine bought 20 packages in April 2016 and ~5 days after installing them he used oav. He didn't report any issues with the procedure, and saw a good mite drop but he didn't take pre and post treatment counts.

In August he caged the queens in all of his hives for 24 days and then he vaporized the colonies. He removed the queens from the hive during vaporization and then reintroduced them once the post treatment close up of the hive was done. This time he took mite counts on 4 hives. Pre-treatment the numbers were anywhere from 18-27 and post treatment 0-3. As of January 21st, 17 out 21 colonies are alive and doing well.
