Bob is right of course, not all of the Russian bees are resistant to 
mites.  They are a mixed bag.  They have problems.  But some of them are 
clearly resistant to mites and that is what I am working into my bees.  
I do not make any guarantees that my bees or queens are Russian or mite 
resistant, but I think it is important that when I raise queens that I 
am always trying to move forward.
