>Sainath Suryanarayanan is at it again, attempting to steer the focus of bee research away from facts and towards some sort of "socio-ecological approach" as he calls it. How this can do anything but further muddy the water escapes me. Maybe you can figure it out. 

Many of us like seeing fresh young minds look at the current bee situation. 

The results of current CCD study are really simple. 

1. here is a list of all possible hypothesis. (very long)

2. list of symptoms which are rarely seen


If there is a good point about CCD research *now that funding has for the most part dried up* those researchers manly interested in funding are gone.

Commercial beekeepers are working to get new funding as bee loss continues but if found the funding will be directed to different directions than last time .
