Good points, Peter. A gripe I have with the ABF is the lobbying they do for government funding. Government help seldom comes without attached strings. And these strings seldom come without unintended consequences. Just look what the past fifty years of federal farm bills have done to "family farms", the ones they were supposedly designed to save.
