This may of interest to the list members.
 
The Western Pennsylvania Beekeepers' Seminar will be March 12-13 at the
Penn State
Beaver Campus.  General Classroom Building in Monaca, PA.  The Friday
evening session
will be 7-9 p.m., featuring Sue Cobey, Ohio State University.  She will
present the
"New World Carniolan Cooperative Breeding Program,"  as well as a video
on
"Instrumental Insemination of Honey Bee Queens."
        Saturday's program will be from 8:00 a.m.  to 4:00 p.m. with a focus on
Queens.  There will also be workshops on Cooking with Honey, and Working
with Wax.
        Other speakers include Steve and Ellie Conlon, Judy Gulleson, Jennifer
Finley, Maryann Frazier, Royal Draper, Tom McCormack and Gwen Lutz.
        The reservation deadline is March 3.  The cost including lunch is
$15/person.
