Part of the problem with pesticides is applying them when they are not
needed which happen here along with being very uneducated about honey bees.

Think the pesticide company sprayed so they could bill the city? They may
have decided they wanted some money for their time going to kill the swarm
of bees that had already moved on. Where it has Trade Name on the sign it
looks like MastaLive, if that is meant to be the name of the pesticide used
I couldn't find it with an inter net search.

After that article a beekeepers offered their services if any other swarms
land in public parks.
