I am highly allergic to ragweed pollen. Have seen photos of bees foraging on this
plant. One year I ate a small piece of "comb honey" from an exposed colony which
we harvested, and I got severe allergic reactions (stomach cramps, hives all over
my body, itching all over). I susopect that there were a few pollen cells containing
high amounts of ragweed pollen.
