I suppose if you sprinkled cyanide on the inner cover that would
work too, but I wouldn't want to eat the honey.  Comet does not
belong anywhere near bees and honey.  This type of thing will
only lead to the general public doubting the "pure"-ness and
"natural"-ness of honey should they find out.
