Well said, Aaron!  I totally agree with you.

Not many GOOD things can be said about the arrival of the mites, but one MAJOR
GOOD THING has occurred; and that is:  Beekeepers are finally becoming aware
of the importance of SCIENTIFIC STUDY AND RESEARCH in the art of good
beekeeping, and this is particularly true in raising good queens.
