been done?  Seems to my recollection that part of the basic testing required
for approval.

So why are we now finding large amounts of these substances causing problems
in rivers?  If that was not part of the basic testing, were the impacts on
oceans even considered?

I am not saying that they were not - just asking what I think are fair
questions.
