Hi ,

we´re(some beekeepers)) in Denmark(Europe) having discussions regarding
pros and cons with plastic frames(foundation or full).

Some issues are :

Cleaning : how difficult or easy compared to melting vax eg.

Yield : is there a higher yield on plastic frames than on vax frames ?(under same circumstances)

Work : does using plastic frames mean more "effective" beekeeping ?

Varroa eg. : any difference on plastic compared to vax ?

Costs : any one having compared costs(%) between a plastic and a vax driven bee yard ?

Any experiences or "research" on the subject are velcome.
