> 100 varroas in a hive is nothing. How big were the colonies tested?

Bees was earlier tratement in August-September, 3* amitraz fumigation (12mg), total varroa drop more 1500.
Colonies was normal typical size for wintering, one box dadant-blatt (8 frame).

> Also 8 days of evaluation is too short a period.

In Poland is now uniquely warm autumn. I'm not absolutely sure that by now (2.11) was no brood period.
I know how long work similar mixtures ("oxalic acid+sugar syrup"" bienenwohl"" beevital hive clean" etc.)
8 days was compromise.

I think about lemon juice:
No hazard to bees.
It is inexpensive.
Everyone can make own test.
